Bayam Ariyaan Songs Review

I wish to kickstart this review section by posting a few reviews I have earlier received through email.

From
Balasubramanian Jayaraman,

Hi Shivan,
It's your day around me today!!!

I happen to see the launch video of the movie at Sun News and was
discussing with my brother about you.

I saw you introducing yourself.

It was really an impressive introduction given by James Vasanthan.
Honestly speaking it's really surprising to note a guy from IIT
ventured into Music... surprisingly IIT never teaches Music.....
hahaaa..... Great Man!!!!

As everybody said in the function, Amma Nee Irunathaal & Nee Illai
endral... both the songs will always have a special feel for us
all!!!! As you said... living legends of tamil music are with my
friend and sung in his music... Pinching myself... yes it's the
fact...

End of the song... KJY has melted and we have tears in eyes... though
it's the fact the birth has the end called "Death" it's tough to
accept to the fact.

It would definetely take time for anybody to come out the lyrics...
really punching and very essential at this point of time. Convey my
congrats to the lyric writer too...

Dhara Dhiri is really rocking... very fast and would definetely take
away all the feets with the Music... Chinna pasanga guththipaanga(enna
maari chinna pasanga... ada naan roomba chinna payyan...)...

SPB's voice slowly enters the heart like the honey vading through the
mouth to stomach... he always has that magic... I will also try to
sing the same way after learning the lyrics and the whole song... Just
to tell you about his voice & throw of his singing... Illaiyaraja has
used him for one of the song which i use to discuss most of the time.

This is for the movie "Friends" for the song "Kuyilukku Koo koo" in
which SPB, Hariharan & Shankar Mahadevan has sung. Ilaiyaraja had
introduced the voice of SPB at the end of the second charanam.. you
could listen to the level SPB had took that song with his voice..
amazing voice.... probably when you find time, you try to listen to
the song, you would really notice that.

Coming back, in this song, SPB during the second charanam, the way he
ended it... with the lines... ennodu naan indri parakkiren... i felt
like he flew really... wow what a voice and rendered great feel to the
song...

Pallan kuzhi kannam, pesum debamo... it's again treat for ears.

Above all, you took us all away with the Theme Music "Saamayo", i
remember listning to this music long back in your blog. I love this
song as it is different from all the above and it shows your style of
music completely...

My Wish is that.... Love & Live for Music forever....

I will keep writing for the Music forever...

Musically Yours
Balu

  1. Sir Album is good on the ears.As a professional sound engineer i would suggest better mixing and sound quality.Looks like songs have been arranged in the pre historic LP version.Wordless song? in tamil! good ,but keep the basics right and then experiment. This is a point in my honest opinion.I work with the 4th generation composers, so kindly take it as an advice from an old lad.

  2. What you hear on this site is a Raaga.com link... I believe that, in their efforts to speed up the downloads, they are offering songs at 56kbps-mono, which takes its toll on quality. Kindly do listen to my audio cd, and do comment(Do let me know if you need one). If you still feel there are deficiencies, I will definitely take efforts to correct them in my upcoming films! Thanks for your constructive criticism and advice! :-)
